Tennis Court Lodges

Tennis Court Lodges is a small, single sex boarding house for either boys or girls in the Sixth Form.  It is used as additional accommodation in order to provide a smaller house environment for pupils, perhaps while preparing for Oxbridge entrance or wishing for greater independence within the supportive school community before moving on to University.  It may also be a potential option for day pupils who wish to board in their final year in preparation for life beyond Canford.

For all pupils, their day to day pastoral needs are looked after by Mr Effick, however pupils still maintain close links to their original houses.  They are able to join the rest of the school in the Great Hall for meals.   Tennis Court Lodges also has its own kitchen facilities similar to those available to Sixth Formers in the main boarding houses.
