Monteacute

Monteacute House was one of two new houses founded in the early 1930s as the school expanded. The de Monteacutes owned Canford Manor in the fourteenth century; today’s boys’ boarding house is located on the top two floors of one of the central buildings, overlooking the 600 year old John O’ Gaunt’s Kitchen.  Sixth Form pupils currently have an additional boarding option in Tennis Court Lodges.
